Jack Egan was raised on a thoroughbred racehorse and beef cattle property in the Victorian high country town of Mansfield with father Gerald, mother Fiona and sister Marnie. Constantly surrounded by all types of animals he developed a passion for veterinary medicine.
Since graduating from Veterinary Science in Wagga, Jack undertook an equine surgery, medicine, anaesthesia and reproduction internship at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital. Jack has recently relocated to Maffra to broaden his skill set in mixed practice whilst maintaining a strong interest in equine practice.
Jack’s interests outside of work include football, cricket, water-skiing, horse racing and campdrafting. He is keen to integrate into the local community and make productive relationships.
